The best experience in my day so far was the meeting with parents of a baby born at 27 weeks of gestation. The baby was 2 weeks old and had never been held by his mom. I invited to mom to hold the baby even he was still taken care of in an incubator with nasal respiratory support. It took some extra efforts to ensure the whole event remained safe for the baby but it was such a pleasure the see the moments of pure joy between mom and baby.
Mom's love is the among the biggest possible gifts we can receive. Even to observe it brings so much happiness to our heart.
